Ambassador Seymur Mardaliyev visited Odessa

Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Seymur Mardaliyev paid a working visit Odessa region on June 20-21, 2024. Within the visit, Ambassador held official meetings with Oleg Kiper, Chairman of Odessa Regional State Administration, Grigory Didenko, Chairman of Odessa Regional Council, Pavlo Vugelman, Deputy Mayor of Odessa, and got acquainted with the potential of Odessa Region.

The meetings discussed the strategic partnership and high-level contacts between the two countries, economic and trade relations, difficulties for cooperation in wartime conditions, the mine problem and the works carried out in Azerbaijan in this field, including the current situation in Azerbaijan. The parties talked about close cultural, humanitarian and economic relations of Azerbaijan with Odessa, discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the fields of economic-trade, culture, education, and interregional relations. The Ukrainian officials expressed gratitude for Azerbaijan's friendly attitude and humanitarian assistance, and declared readiness for the development of cooperation in all fields.

During the visit, Ambassador Seymur Mardaliyev visited the "Azerbaijan House", met with the activists of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Odessa region, and exchanged views on the activities and development of the Azerbaijani diaspora.

Ambassador also visited the Consulate General of brotherly Turkey in Odessa and met with Consul General Birey Yılmazsoy.
